Is anyone else having problems with new posts showing up properly? Sometimes the icon on next to the name of a board won't be red even when a topic has been posted in since I've last been on. Also, sometimes threads with new posts won't show up at the top of the list.

Sometimes it'll just show everything as read (grey) for me even in the forums I never go into.

I have actually posted an explanation for this Basically, there is a piece of code (that I can't get my hands on) that will automatically log you out after 15 minutes of inactivity. When you refresh, it logs you back in automatically (assuming you toggled the box when you logged in before). When it logs you off, as is standard across all forums, it automatically marks all the forums as read. It assumes that since you have visited the forum, any thread you have not read is because you don't intend to read it. Hence, any posts made within those 15 minutes of inactivity will not show up as a new post. Any new post made once it has logged you of will. As for new posts not being bumped to the top of the list, that was an intentional change to the news thread which was announced in the Admin Announcements forum by Dale a few days ago.

But yeah, you can just plug them in. <---Test [.img] http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-violent002.gif[./img] <---Code <---Test #2 <.img src="http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-violent002.gif"> <---Code

Looks like I'll just have to upload them to photobucket, then link from there.

No chance you could resize that? 1mb is a pretty big file to load...

If a GIF file set as an avatar doesn't move, is this likely to be because the file is too large?

I'd have thought it'd simply refuse to upload, but possibly. Im not sure what the limit is but its not that high.

Out of curiosity, how large was the file you tried?

71.1kb. My current GIF, which works fine, is 60.8kb. I believe even that is above the limit...think you told me it's 32kb back when you first opened the forum. Any chance you can up it to 2.8mb? I found a funny GIF that size, but no way that will work.

Yours is HUGE! Can't be the size then Mines about 400Kb. The "official" word is 64Kb, but thats obviously bollocks. Its not a restriction I impose but one on the forum host.
