There used to be a show called RollerDerby and they had it televised, I forget what channel. There was a team from my hometown.

Also, just took my computer into the shop. Library's gonna be my friend for 3-4 days.

What about Slamball? That was awesome, that should have lasted longer.

Ok, serious question. Lots of people watch Football, and the American equivalent. People watch cricket and for some reason baseball, and rugby and tennis, but why not Roller Derby? I mean, seriously, would you rather watch sweaty blokes hit a ball or watch hot women on roller skates beat each other up?
Sounds intriguing, but it's not on the telly (at least not over here) Neutral

No, its not anywhere that I know of, which is a little strange as its one of the few sports the US can claim is 100% theirs. Apparently it's big in Minnesota, but its not televised anywhere (I couldn't even find recordings for online TV sites). I went to a game near me and the place was filled with streakers and alcohol fuelled yelling and screaming in a room no bigger than a school gym.

It's not big in Minnesota. I live in Minnesota, and while I know what you're talking about, and have seen an episode maybe once years ago, it's not big. It's basically unheard of, and if you asked a Minnesotan, "Did you catch the Roller Derby last night?" no one will have an idea of what you are talking about.
