I thought I'd add a new section. As many of you are probably aware, the initial manner in which this ran was that we would have one person upload an album to be reviewed, and then whoever took it would upload the next. Well, that idea didn't exactly last very long, but I thought it about time we have a place where you can yell if you think a particular album should be reviewed. Rather than revert to the old system, it gives people the ability to suggest albums (though there is no guarantee that they will be picked up by anyone). I'll update this list as often as needed. The Ferret Wants Reviewed: Jurassic Jade – Gore - Old School Thrash, Japanese style. Raw, but something feels distinct compared to other artists. Gargoyle (Jpn) – Misogi - Another old school Japanese Prog/Thrash band, maybe a little experimental as well. Ram-Zet – Neutralized - Avant-Garde. Latvala Bros – Latvala Brothers play Wooden Eye - Instrumental Power/Thrash with the rhythm guitarist from Bodom. Surprisingly, I didn't think it was half bad, and its a shame this is their only release.

Darkjazz Kilimanjaro Orchestra - Here be Dragons Actually, a lot like it sounds. I'm having a difficulty concentrating on this one, though I do enjoy it I don't find it engaging enough. They began by 're-writing' music for classic silent films - Nosferatu for example - and that shows. I can upload if needed.

I'll check out Jurassic Jade and Gargoyle Thomas, and see if I can write one or both of them up.

I've ended up doing the Gargoyle already, but they have a big discog. Could easily up another, perhaps do a sort of an 'old meets new' type thing, seeing as this was their debut and they released "Kuromitten" a few months back.

Ok, I watched The Wickerman for the first time the other day and I was wondering what some other people's opinions might be on it

Original or remake? Original, I've never seen the re-make I remember it being decent enough. Nothing spectacular but I dont regret watching it, even if I have no ambition to watch it again (remake or otherwise).

It was definitely one of the strangest movies I have seen in a while but a couple of the plot twists in there where (for me) brilliantly written which lead to me thoroughly enjoying it once all was said and done

Oh, that's nowhere near what I consider strange anymore. When you've seen a woman give birth to a 20 year old man (Gozu), a cartoon about a kid who hits people over the head with a baseball bat to save them (Paranoia Agent), fake commercials such as this or this from Tokyo Gore Police, any live-action animé (E.g. Cutie Honey or Kekko Kamen) or a David Lynch film, the bar gets raised a bit.

I feel like I just lost some of my innocence watching those commercials

So I just read around a third or so of your reviews (as I couldn't sleep and I figured some light reading would do me some good) and I have a small list of films to see now with you to thank

A review for Count Beetle would be interesting... countbeetle@myspace.com Stark outsider music criminally kept in conspiracy from an audience....there are some stories; literature and such, by Teddy Horse of Count Beetle at the blogs at myspace...he also maintains an outsider publication called oldehaintpress which was first meant to be an outlet for the stories and the blogs of count beetle's myspace profile... that has some good metal interviews with Pentagram, Darkthrone, and maybe the last Mutiilation interview ever Best regards
