What are some mid tempo songs that are moderately difficult?

UFO's "Rock Bottom" wasn't too hard (though I have yet to tackle the solo), and most of Disillusions "Fall" isn't too bad. Once you get the timing right on that intro, you've pretty much done the hardest part.

Metallica's "MoP" and Sabbath's "Paranoid" are also classic options that just about everyone seems to learn at some point. Maybe GnR's "Sweet Child of Mine" if it isn't annoying yet.

I forgot about MoP. >.<
I'll check out "Rock Bottom" and "Fall" though. "Paranoid" I know and "Sweet Child of Mine" drives me nuts. XD

MoP serves as a good dual exercise, as once you've learnt it you can practice picking entirely downwards, and then try it entirely upwards.

Orion by Metallica. Or like, any of the songs from the first three albums are all great for learning speed on rhythm guitar.
