I'm getting the feeling that something bad's going on in the Steelers camp, that we're not hearing about, maybe some tension between the players or coaches or management or something. I can't think of what it might be but they've fallen pretty hard this year. Of course it may just be an off-year for them as well.

Two words. Troy Polamalu. The record this year with him is better than with out him. He, not Harrison, is you defensive MVP.

Wow, it looks like we could have two unbeaten teams this year.

If any team loses I think it will be the Colts. They seem to be the one willing to rest their team for the playoffs.

I find it funny that despite making the biggest trade of the offseason the Broncos and the bears essentially stayed the same. The Broncos wasted a hot start by completely collapsing and finished 8-8 and out of the playoffs and Cutler didn't really improve the Bears quarterbacking situation. At least the Broncos got some first round picks.

So as a Packer fan(which you are right?). You would be OK with him winning a Super Bowl with your most hated rival? As a Raider fan I will say. If they went and got Elway and took us to our first Super Bowl victory. I am not sure I would support that. I understand the love that Packer fans have for Favre. But he really treated the fans and the team like shit with his holding the team hostage every year and then stabbing the fans in the back by signing to the hated Vikings. It doesn't erase all the great things he did, but it tarnishes his record for sure to me. I am glad to see the football gods did not reward him for his treason. The Vikings signed a deal with the devil and it may set their franchise back a few years. I think they deserve it.

It definitely will just keep tarnishing his record the more he plays. Back when he first left it seemed like everyone was mad at the Packers for not taking him back, and he even still had plenty of people supporting him when he was with the Jets, but by now it seems like the whole state is against him. At least now we don't have to spend all summer wondering whether he comes back or not.

It should. People pick teams for many reasons. Most go with the team where they are from. I being from California (Los Angeles exactly) I had the choice of two teams. Raiders or Rams. I chose the Raiders. They have since moved back to Oakland. But my loyalty is still with them and always will be.

To me it is more about WHY he continues to play. It is not just because he feels he can. He also wants to stick it to the Packers as if they did something wrong. He held the team hostage for three straight years. Never knowing if he was coming back and if they should draft a new QB. At some point the Packer had to move on. I feel Brett forced their hand by never committing earlier in the season. For him to play the victim as if he played no part in it pisses me off. Then to sign with the Vikings in a very shady deal. That sealed the deal for me.

For the record. I liked Favre a great deal before all this happened. Much like Payton Manning, I think Brett was great for the game and fun to watch. Despite the fact that they were not on my team, I rooted for both(unless they played the Raiders). But I think all of the drama surrounding Favre has shown his true colors.

I was just saying that if winning a superbowl would garentee a retirement out of the man and he just signed a one-day contract with the packers then I would have actually cheered for him to win no matter how much I hate the viqueens. I still don't know though if I am actually happy about the outcome of the NFC championship though becuse no matter how much it pisses me off that Favre actually signed a contract to play for the viqueens, I still to some degree or another like worship the man... its a weird clusterfuck of emotions...
