Stl Cardinals are well on their way to winning another NL Central title! And this makes it 101 WSC-less years for that shitty team from the North Side of Chicago Unfortunately, the Tribe has had another rough year , but at least the White Sox aren't gonna win the division

The braves had a chance to get in the playoffs, but blew it by getting swept by the Reds

The World Series is played by the MLB, which encompasses 2 countries: the United States and Canada. However, when you look the makeup of the teams, you see a variety of nations represented. You see, baseball is popular in many countries, especially in the western hemisphere, but also in Japan. The best players of these countries play for MLB teams however, making the MLB the best baseball league in the world. Therefore, the MLB World Series actually represents the best players in the world and deserves the title 'World Series'.

Whilst I think you overestimate the popularity abroad, it does make more sense that way. Though by that definition we could call the premiership the 'world league,' seeing as how few brits there are in it these days

Just Wondering what are your MVP picks. It would be stupid to go against Joe Mauer in the AL. But in the NL Chase Utley, Hanley Ramirez and Albert Pujols all have good arguments. But I think that with his recent hot streak Albert is beginning to pull away.

As a die-hard Cards fan, I'm for Albert as MVP of course

As much as I hate the Cardinals I think Pujols deserves it.

I am currently getting drunk and watching the Sox play the Orioles. They are winning 3-1. Good times.
