I'm a flirty guy, very flirty and I have a very dirty mind. I make sexual jokes and remarks all the time, the people I make them to are friends, they know I'm joking and they're not quite as old as me. Between 14-16 years old. They're all really good friends of mine. Now, someone went off saying if I didn't stop talking to them they'd call the cops and like, flipped shit saying how I was disrespectful and all this other non sense. If they know I'm joking around and don't actually mean it, is there anything she can get against me? Or is even joking around about that stuff illegal?

It might be considered harassment--anymore, 'harassment' is pretty loosely defined, pretty much up to the whim of whomever claims they're being harassed, so I'd tread carefully if I were you.

It won't look good if you can be seen as sexually harassing a minor. Things like this are generally hard to prove though. If I were you I'd just stay away from this person.

This. Although, in these types of cases, girls (especially cute, white, virginal 14-16 year old girls) have a MAJOR upper hand.

One thing is clear, if you talk to her past the point where she said stop talking to me or I'll call the cops, you are harassing her, and the law is in her favour assuming she could prove it (like if other people saw her say it).

Before that it's less clear, depends on what you said, and her ability to prove it. Thing is it could go to court either way, and sexually harassing minors could get you the sex offender label (my friend almost got it because the cops caught him pissing outside at a concert where minors were present).

If you want to avoid the cost of a lawyer, just follow her wishes and leave her alone. Plus Lindsey is right get some friends your own age, or stop making sexual remarks to minors. Right or wrong, society would tend to look at you as the weird/creepy person in this situation.

All that being said more than likely nothing will happen, it was probably her way of saying you were making her feel uncomfortable, and if you want to be a stand up guy respect that and take it back a notch.

US is 18, UK is 16, Canada is 14, Japan is 13 (with parental consent, 18 without), Belgium/Portugal/Greece are all 14 I think.

I think that the law in Canada for sexual harassment goes something like;
It isn't harassment unless the person tells you to stop. If you continue, then action can be taken against you. But like was already mentioned, it is hard to prove as well. In he said/she said matters, I don't think there is much that can be done(unless it is on the job of course, and even then it depends on a companies policy).

In several states here in the US (including Iowa) 16 is the age of consent.

I hardly talked to this person who said she'd do it though. I don't know where she got the idea I was disrespectful or anything, but I did stop talking to her all together and two others. Still, anything sexual I may have said, which I don't remember saying much, if any, would have been very obviously joking, like "ZOMG, WE CAN GET MARRIED AND HAS HAWT KINKEH SEX11!" Sort of thing.

Uh, I had a friend in high school who called me "Jailbait." I also took a law class and when creepy old dudes hit on me, I'd drop the age bomb.
