Wow, I had no idea that the same dude directed all those movies, that is really weird. The Fountain coming up along side pi makes more sense now......

"Looking at it chronologically works quite well tbh. Since you're familiar with Requiem, "Pi" shows him stretching out a little, and is less experimental and chaotic, and whilst not as good is still better than many other films. "The Fountain" comes AFTER requiem, and he just goes too far with it."
No. Just correcting a mistake. Me being right is reward in itself.

I see no mistake. At no point did I allude to the contrary, in fact by specifically stating that "the fountain" came after requiem I would have assumed the opposite was true for "Pi."

If that's Fergie singing the chorus, I'll admit, I'm pretty impressed. She could do heavy metal. Too bad the rest of it is shit.

That actually wasn't too bad. I've always maintained that Fergie has a really good voice.

Fergie is a good singer and I like Cypress Hill. But all together with that song just did not work for me at all.

Shit
You know people only pull this kind of crap when the film is shit, they all know its shit (though the actors probably don't) and they need something to get people to watch it and justify their budget. And I was actually hoping for something good from Aronofsky

But with two well known celebrities? Publicised well before its release date? The closest comparison would be "Wild Things," and that was a mediocre thriller at best.

It worked too, I'll see it even if it's absolute garbage.

Me too, because I've seen everything else he's done. Plus, he had me at Mila Kunis

Today is a good day for me.
1. Just got a job at a Metal/Rock store.
2. Has a kickass collection of shirts, posters, and other accessories.
3. Drug paraphernalia too. Some sweet bongs and pipes.
4. It's right next to my university and...A STRIP CLUB!
