So I just found out I'm seeing Metallica and Lamb Of God on Saturday. Pretty excited as both bands have put on good shows when I saw them in the past.

I'm going to see Transiberian Orchestra on November 18th, not a big fan of theirs but the show looks insane, and its something I can take the wife to.

Saw both in copenhagen on they day people/media says they were best.... Lamb of God>Mastodon(they were touring with them with I saw them)>Metallica Our setlist were bad and they were to many posers seing them and they played to loud. Lamb of God was pretty good, but someone kept farting infront of me.

Lamb of God was pretty good, but someone kept farting infront of me. I neglected to mention that I'll be in box seats . I've seen Metallica four times and they always put on a great show every time. Lamb Of God was good but that was 4 or 5 years ago and I haven't listened to them much since. Still, should be a good time.

Actually, it already is: http://www.metal-archives.com/band.php?id=28014 What? That's so dumb. Why would you name your band on something that treats asthma. Imagine them playing a Doctors Convention or something. "And now with their new hit single, Respiratory Blood Clot!" "And this next one is called, Severe Bronchitic Pain!" Lyrics go: I smoked a joint It was quite soothing But now I have SEVERE BRONCHITIC PAIN! I had a cigarette It felt very good But now I have SEVERE BRONCHITIC PAIN! I inhaled some pollution The mucus membranes of my bronchi got inflamed And now I have SEVERE BRONCHITIC PAIN! SEVERE BRONCHITIC PAIN! SEVERE BRONCHITIC PAIN! SEVERE BRONCHITIC PAIN! *Doctors cheer*

Told you, ads. Bedwetting? Lol, that's not even relevant. Should'nt the admin(s) of Lifer be getting money? When you put ads on your blog, Google pays you, not Blogger. Wait, Blogger is a part of Google. This is confusing.

News to me: Apparently pigfuck is a genre somehow related to punk. Person x (Club owner): Ok, you guys want to play a show here, what kind of music do you play? Person Y: Oh we play a mix of noise rock and pigfuck. Person x: Oh, great, pigfuck bands go over really well here, well I think we are in business.

Quick question, does anyone here know any good post-pigfuck bands, or even go the other direction, maybe some proto-pigfuck (If I had a band there would be a name change ...right....about......NOW)

http://rateyourmusic.com/customchart?page=1&chart_type=top&type=album&year=alltime&genre_include=1&genres=Pigfuck&include_child_genres=t&include=both&limit=none&countries=
here is a list of "pigfuck" bands Right, so its just another term for noise rock then. Zeni Geva and Made out of Babies are two more recent examples that I like, otherwise those top 5 are all good. Yeah, pretty much, I find it kind of interesting because it shows that metalheads aren't the only ones who like insane amounts of genre sub-divisions. I find for the most part RYM lists are pretty good, prone to over-fap of bands like Metallica etc. but all sights are. Yeah, there are few in most genres of music when you get down to it. I had a recent flirtation with a genre called "Shibuya-Kei," which is a combination of picopop (pop that uses samples then alters their electronic signal), acid jazz, bossa nova and trip-hop.

WTF - Avril Lavigne does absolutely horrible cover of chop suey, someone should shoot her. I don't care about the song, but that is so fucking horrible I nearly puked...... EDIT: I like SoaD, probably not the best thing to admit here, but it is true nonetheless........
