We had the first snowfall of winter '09-'10 last night in Iowa City. Granted, it's pretty much all gone by now, but fuck, do I hate snow

For the last few weeks I've had a ridiculous amount of work and I finally finished it all today. I'll actually be able to start posting on here again.

I just finished the second of 5 papers I have due next week. Unfortunately, the two I finished were 1 and 4 pages, and the three I have left are 8, 6, and 3 pages long

In case I haven't mentioned it enough times now, I REALLY fucking hate coding. Because its always one tiny little error that decides to be the bane of your existence, entirely screwing up the entire 5 sides

I always get sad when seasons turn into winter. It reminds me of my own mortality.

It's not winter I mind, it's THE FUCKING SNOW!!! GAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! It makes walking to class rather treacherous, especially around March once it gets warm enough during the day for it to melt, but at night it freezes again, coating the sidewalks with a thin layer of ice. Plus, whenever I'm at home during break and it snows, I have to go and shovel the driveway, and last winter we had some pretty heavy snowfalls in December and January. I actually don't mind winter too much, as long as it doesn't get ridiculously cold, like 0°F. After wall, winter ist pretty fucking krieg

The last 2 winters in Denmark have consisted of 3-5°C temperature, a shit load of rain and alot of wind. I'd kill for some snow rather than rain. We got 126 mm rain this november, which was spread over 27 days and only 26 hours of sunlight, thats about 30 hourse below average. That fucking sucks almost of month of shadow and rain!!!!!!

I'm shocked that it's sort of snowing here. Earlier this week it was 57(14 C), New Jersey weather makes no sense.

It was the same where I am, in Ithaca, NY earlier this week. Also, we got a really random snowy morning in the beginning of October but nothing since then.

I feel compelled, as one of the precious few Southern Hemisphere dwellers in the group, to mention that I am about to die of heat. It's the most uncomfortable feeling in the world to think you shat yourself because your pants are wet, when, in the meantime, it's sweat
And also, I have only seen snow once in my life and that was painfully little, so screw you all and I hope you die

Better that way around than to think its sweat when you actually just shat yourself.

That's depressing, I love snow. You should venture into the snow covered lands of the north sometime.

The Cincinnati- Pittsburgh game today was one of the most strange and exciting games I've ever seen. Also in the three games I saw at least part of today I saw 5 missed extra points

Ok, serious question. Lots of people watch Football, and the American equivalent. People watch cricket and for some reason baseball, and rugby and tennis, but why not Roller Derby? I mean, seriously, would you rather watch sweaty blokes hit a ball or watch hot women on roller skates beat each other up?

Sounds intriguing, but it's not on the telly (at least not over here)

No, its not anywhere that I know of, which is a little strange as its one of the few sports the US can claim is 100% theirs. Apparently it's big in Minnesota, but its not televised anywhere (I couldn't even find recordings for online TV sites). I went to a game near me and the place was filled with streakers and alcohol fuelled yelling and screaming in a room no bigger than a school gym.

Month of Shadow and Rain would be a great name for a black metal game.
