Dude Pokemon and DBZ were great. They suffer from a lot of inconsistency and filler but quit being such a goddamn elitist. Razz

You kidding me? I thought it sucked when I was 12 and nothing has changed. It was just another crappy TV show geared towards little kids without any originality. What's entertaining about watching an electronic squirrel say the same fucking word over and over again, or doing the exact same thing to everything it meets? Or how about a minute of every episode devoted to one shitty chant about how they're Team Rocket that got old the first time?

Furthermore, now that I've actually watched more anime I can appreciate how terrible the animation is too; the colours are bright to try to keep the attention span of morons drawn to flashing lights and the actual animation itself is slow, clunky, and badly drawn. It's light and fluffy entertainment that appeals to morons who have yet to hit puberty, and even they would get bored of it before too long. Theres only so many times you can listen to that whiny, nasal, annoying voice of 'Ash' before you want to throw a brick into the TV.

In short, pokemon sucks hard, not only for being complete and utter bollocks, but for concealing the fact that not all anime is written like the writers wiped their ass with a piece of paper and told their team to animate it.

Pokemon, Digimon, Dragonball Z, this was my early exposure to it and so naturally I thought it was all that shitty.

Well, it definitely wasn't the best show ever, but I don't really think Dragonball Z can be lumped into the same category as Pokemon or Digimon, if only because those shows basically existed for the sole purpose of capitalizing on a popular franchise, and thus were doomed from the start. Dragonball Z at least had character development and stuff like that.

I never heard a Porcupine Tree song until today. Now, I definitely like them though.

I've been to a rub and tug. What can I say...I was curious. The happy ending wasn't very happy, though.

Hahahaha...I thought that's what everyone called them. I must say that although the happy ending was less than happy, the massage was fucking incredible.

I think I've sunk to a new low. The animé series im currently watching, im half way through and im pretty sure it was aimed at teenagers. Female teenagers. As in, the Japanese equivalent of Twilight-fangirls.

...and I don't actually hate it...

As of writing this, this is what my last.fm listening habits look like.

  1. Hazel Nuts Chocolate - 91
  2. ACO - 59
  3. カヒミ・カリィ (Kahimi Karie) - 52
  4. Doom - 33
  5. Anthem - 33
  6. Gargoyle - 29
  7. Lullatone - 29
  8. Astra - 28
  9. Hi-Posi - 17
  10. Alieson - 15
  11. Magni Animi Viri - 14
  12. Momus - 9
  13. Maggot Brain - 9
  14. Jia Peng Fang - 8
  15. Lye By Mistake - 5
  16. My Sleeping Karma - 5
  17. Mutyumu - 4
  18. Sigh - 4
  19. Serani Poji - 3
  20. David Sylvian - 3

You may wonder, "so what," lots of bands nobody talks about, big whoop, but actually, there is a confession in this; there are only five metal bands on that list. There are only a further three that I'd call rock in a broader sense. Compare that to the 8 pop bands up there (including the top three spots), Lifer, I'm feeling a little unqualified right now Razz

So I just downloaded nearly a gig of music ranging from Power metal ("Tanaka Arctica" - who wouldn;t?), heavy metal, some symphonic, a touch of pop, southern rock, prog rock, some electronica stuff, etc, etc. Oh, and its all Doujin (Japanese covers of VG music).

EDIT: Why am I the only one still making confessions? Razz

I listened to the entire Chocolate Starfish and the Hotdog Flavered water by Limp Bizkit the other day... and loved it.
That shits my childhood haha, even after not listening to it for at least 5 years I still remember like every word

I'm getting really bad at finishing what I start. I currently have 5 half-written reviews sitting in a word file. >.<

I like to watch the terrible movies on the Syfy channel, especially creature flicks...anything with the words 'shark attack' in the title is pure comedic gold Very Happy
I also like to play 'who gets om-nom-nom'd?' and guess who gets eaten, and who survives the film. Razz

You need to see Mammoth. It's got Summer Glau (Firefly, Sarah Connor Chronicles) and the dude from "The Invisible Man" in it. Cheesy ridiculous goodness.

I'm talking strictly physical appearance here. I just find Asian women(mostly middle eastern and south Asian) to be generally far more attractive than white women. Maybe it has something to do with them looking "exotic", white women are usually pretty boring looking.
